Waylon Forge is a character created specifically for the Twilight film, and is not present in the novel.
Biography
Twilight
Waylon is introduced as one of Charlie's friends from the police station, and is supposedly killed by an "animal" on his boat, though the Cullens know that it was vampire. In the movie, he had known Charlie 30 years and played Santa Claus every Christmas and handed out tiny bottles as Christmas presents to children.
He makes his first appearance at the diner and asks Bella if she remembers him.
He is fixing a small boat singing "The Cat's Meow" when James, Laurent and Victoria catch him by surprise (he calls out for a man called Joe), and, after stopping his attempt to escape, press him down and kill him. After the killing, Victoria steals his shirt that says "Kiss Me, I'm Irish", which Victoria is later seen wearing. James, liking Waylon's jacket, also steals it after they killed him and is seen wearing it for the rest of the movie. His body is later found on the boat.
Cora refers to Waylon as "Butt Crack Santa".
Film portrayal
Waylon is portrayed by Ned Bellamy in the Twilight film.
