Waylon Forge is a character created specifically for the Twilight film, and is not present in the novel.

Twilight

Waylon is introduced as one of Charlie's friends from the police station, and is supposedly killed by an "animal", though the Cullens know that it to be a vampire. In the movie he is found to have known Charlie 30 years and played Santa Claus. In The Lodge Cora tells Bella he was but-crack Santa in reply to Charlie telling Waylon that she hadn't had a christmas in Forks scince she was 4.

In the film, Bella and Charlie are at a diner when Waylon comes up and asks Bella if she remembers him.

He is fixing a small boat singing "The Cat's Meow" when James, Laurent and Victoria come, and, after stopping his attempt to escape, press him down and kill him. After they killed him, Victoria steals his shirt that says "Kiss Me, I'm Irish", which Victoria is later seen wearing. James, liking Waylon's jacket, also steals it after they killed him and is seen wearing it for the rest of the movie.

Cora refers to Waylon as "Butt Crack Santa".

Film portrayal

Waylon is portrayed by Ned Bellamy in the Twilight film.
