The second episode of True Blood Season 6, entitled “The Sun,” is going to be hot, hot, hot (See what we did there?). Jam-packed with excitement, the episode dives into the torture the vampires are now experiencing, as Tara has been victimized by a new government weapon.
Eric, never one to back down from a fight, takes matters into his own hands and seeks out a way to combat Governor Burrell’s anti-vampire initiatives.
We find out a little bit more about who is likely going to be Sookie’s flavor of the season. She encounters what HBO is calling a “handsome stranger who shares her faerie abilities” on the way to work.
We meet a new character, Nicole, who is a “supernatural-rights zealot,” and she apparently has the ability to unnerve the usually unflappable Sam. Sam is also confronted by Alcide and Martha about Emma’s future, as we found out last season that she is part shifter/part werewolf.
According to HBO, “Bill contemplates the scope of his heightened powers,” which we’re guessing means he starts to get a pang of good conscience – at least that’s what we’re hoping, as we kind of miss nice Bill!
Needless to say, this one’s going to be good!
