Could Breaking Dawn Ruin Jacob's Image?

Okay so, I haven't been on this site as of late so you might not know me. But the people who do know me, know that I love Jacob (no homo), HATE Breaking Dawn, and HATE that Jacob imprints. And I'm not the only one. A lot of people thought Jacob's character was slowing declining and him imprinting was the straw that broke the camels back. After that, they just couldn't like Jacob anymore, he wasn't that character that people loved. I still do like Jacob, but I like him for what he was BEFORE Breaking Dawn ruined him. But will other fans remain as loyal as I am when the movie hits?

I hate to admit it, but a lot of Jacob fans are only fans because of how he is in the films and a lot of Twilight fans ONLY watched the films and haven't read the books. Do you think they'll still remain loyal fans once Jacob starts spending most of his time cooing and making googly eyes over a vampire baby...who he will one day be with romantically? See, most girls look at Edward and Jacob as the ideal dreamy guys that they can fantasize about and scream over. Many people wish they were Bella because she's got two great guys that love her and they want to have that. A lot of people love Jacob because he's a guy to go nuts over. HOWEVER, after he imprints, then he's not that guy anymore. He's not the romantic guy that wants to be with you. No. He can't be into you anymore, he's into little baby girls now...err...one little baby girl. Girls can't really put themselves into the story and want Jacob, when he'd never want a girl like you. Not anymore. Unless of course, you put yourself in Nessie's shoes. But now what are you? A little baby girl? A little baby girl that never talks. It just doesn't work that way, at least I don't think so (I'm not a girl).

That being said, a lot of Jacob fans are going to be shocked and disappointed when they go see this movie and he imprints. And once again, no matter how you look at it, the whole thing is pretty damn creepy. You can go on saying that it's not bad, because Jacob only wants her to be happy and healthy. But you cannot deny the fact that Jacob is loving and taking care of a baby that he will one day, in 7 years, start kissing and getting touchy feely with.

Jacob: Wow Nessie! Look at how much you've grown! I remember when you were so tiny and I used to hold you, feed you, tuck you in bed, and rock you to sleep. You were like my little baby sister. Ahh, they grow up so fast.......so do you wanna have sex now?

Nessie: Hell yeah!

I can tell that Team Jacob is going to lose A LOT of people...

Breaking Dawn Portrayed in Media and How It'll Affect Everything

When the Twilight film came out, the media was focusing most of it's attention on Edward, vampires, Edward, the whole Edward and Bella relationship, and more Edward. Twilight was known for it's love story about a girl and this vampire pretty boy who sparkles. During the hype of New Moon and Eclipse, the media was allll about Team Edward and Team Jacob, but especially Jacob during New Moon's release. It was all about those two guys, Twilight was about this love triangle and fans were at war over which guy was better. And to this moment, it's still portrayed in that way. Now...how do you think the series will be portrayed once Breaking Dawn is released? I don't think it'll be all about Edward and Bella like it use to be, because Jacob is still there along with a wide variety of other characters. But the whole Team Edward and Team Jacob thing wouldn't be there anymore because Bella's already made her choice, the love triangle is gone. Edward's already married Bella and Jacob's become a ped.....iatrician... yeah. Actually, how do you think Jacob imprinting on Nessie will affect the fans and portrayal of Jacob himself? I hate to admit it, but a lot of Jacob fans are only fans because of how he is in the films and a lot of Twilight fans ONLY watched the films and haven't read the books. Do you think they'll still remain loyal fans once Jacob starts spending most of his time cooing and making googly eyes over a vampire baby...who he will one day be with romantically? Also, how will BD affect Bella in media? Bella is known as the weak HUMAN target of two guy's affection who you're suppose to relate with. Her becoming a vampire really throws that aspect out the window especially when she's a mother as well.

I'm personally dreading the day Breaking Dawn Part I comes out. I'm still going to go see it though, because I feel like I have to or my curiosity will eat me alive. But I'm really really afraid of what I'll see and what everyone else will think...because I know it won't be good. Then again, if it IS good, that would also scare me. Well, maybe I'm being too negative (doubt it), how do you think the Twilight Saga will be viewed once BD is released?

What makes someone an Anti-Twilighter? I've been wondering for a while whether I'm an Anti or just a Sane Fan. There are a lot of MAJOR flaws in Twilight that I hate and sometimes prevent me from enjoying the series. I've noted these flaws many times, like how Bella is a terrible main character, how the Bella and Edward relationship as a whole makes little sense and is unhealthy, and how Breaking Dawn is complete and utter trash. Whenever I see or read some kind of Twilight parody that ridicules it, it doesn't make me mad. If it's funny and true, then I'll laugh with it. If someone came up to my face and said "Ugh! Twilight is complete garbage." my response would be "You're probably right."

However, there are elements of Twilight that I do like a lot and they're what keep me into the series. These things relate to Jacob, werewolves (shape-shifters whatever), and Eclipse. If someone talked badly about those things, I'd get pretty defensive. Because Twilight has these things, I'm willing to be part of the community. That's another thing that keeps me into the series, the community. Talking/debating with people about the series is a lot of fun and it's sad seeing that the community is starting to die down (I'm guessing it'll pick back up once Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released). It's also hard for me to consider myself an Anti, when I do Twilight related things every day and I'm writing a fan fiction for god's sake. It's also important to note that I am NOT a reader. All I ever read are comics and manga. The Twilight Saga books were the first actual books I've read from beginning to end without skipping anything, so that's saying something. When I received the whole series for Christmas, I was admittedly happy, though I didn't get any video games.

What do you guys think? Am I an Anti or no? And what about you? What do you consider yourself?

Total Twi-Hard: You absolutely LOVE Twilight and everything about it. You do Twilight related stuff everyday and you think Stephenie Meyer is the best author ever. You have a lot of Twilight merchandise and pride yourself on being "obsessed".

Sane Twilight Fan: You like Twilight, but you don't think it's perfect. You realize and understand the flaws in the series, but it doesn't stop you from enjoying it. You appreciate Twilight for what it is and your accepting of the criticism many people give it. There are things you love, things you hate, but overall, you're a fan.

Anti-Twilighter: I'm not exactly sure of what they are, which is why I made this discussion. But I'm guessing that they're people who are very knowledgeable of the series, but they don't like it. They ridicule the series often, but for legitimate reasons that can be defended with evidence. So they'd criticize with statements like "Bella is stupid and confused. She wants to throw her human life away after knowing Edward for only a few months. Thinking that you can't be your partner's equal without drastically changing your way of living, is just unhealthy." Rather than haters who criticize with statements like "Vampires that sparkle!? That's so lame. Edward's a total pansy and looks constipated all the time. And what the hell is up with that stupid hair style? Buffy should stake that loser."

Is Twilight dying down?

I've noticed that not that many people are talking about Twilight that much anymore. When I first got into it, people had like 100 things to say everyday. Now, things are a bit slower. And it's not just on this site, but other sites too, like The Twilight Saga forums. That site was probably the place with the most community activity, but it's not buzzing all that much. Why do you think that is?

Personally, I think it might be because back when I was new to Twilight, the Eclipse film just came out and people were excited. I'm guessing the same might happen once Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out. Though it kind of pisses me off that Twilight will pick up steam because of Breaking Dawn. >:(

I guess Twilight won't last forever, that's for sure. People will move on from it because honestly, Twilight isn't THAT good and maybe people will start noticing the major flaws. But the thing I like doing most when it comes to Twilight, is talking/debating about it. It's fun. None of my friends like Twilight, so I kinda rely on the internet. >_>

What do you guys think is the most active Twilight community?

Jacob and Bella's Epic Kiss

I'm talking the second kiss, not that failed attempt.

Now, the Jacob and Bella kiss is personally my favorite moment in the series. How can anyone deny that the kiss was powerful? They kiss and BOOM, Bella realizes that she's been in love with Jacob all this time. However, a lot of people don't like the kiss, particularly Edward fans. People give Jacob a lot of grief for pretty much blackmailing Bella into the kiss. I assume Jacob was thinking that it was his last chance though it probably wouldn't work. But he was pleasantly surprised that it did. I assume Bella was thinking that if she gave him what he wanted, he would stay. But it turns out it's what she wanted too. That's why the kiss started out pretty tense, Jacob upset that it wasn't working and Bella hesitant about whether she should do this. But during the second half they weren't tense at all, they were just enjoying the moment. So were they both scheming on this kiss or was it all Jacob's fault?

What do you think about the kiss? Was it a sweet moment or all strategy? Should Jacob have done it or no? And please, no blatant Jacob haters. I want some serious answers on how you feel?

It's funny actually. All of Jacob's methods before were just him being honest with Bella and letting his feelings be known, but all those failed. Yet when his method involves lying, it works like a charm. This was basically Jacob's first time at lying and manipulating, while Edward does it all the time to Bella and we all know how they ended up. Happily Ever After. So what's Meyer trying to say, that lying and manipulating is the key to winning one's heart? _______________________________________

Overall, I thought the kiss was good. Because 1. They REALLY needed to kiss properly. 2. Bella needed to see that she was in love with Jacob.

A lot of people hate on Bella for kissing Jacob too, but I'm not sure how I feel relating to her (kiss-wise, overall I hate Bella). She loved Jacob deep down and didn't want him to die, she didn't even want him in battle. So she was willing to do anything to keep him safe, even kiss him. All she was thinking about was keeping Jacob alive, but I'm not sure if she was thinking too much about how it would affect things. She was basically going to kiss Jacob so that he'd stay, but also give him false hope, only to leave him heartbroken later on. In this way, she was scheming too. She also wasn't thinking about the fact that she's engaged. I'm sure that her negative attitude toward marriage helped her forget about that fact. It didn't dawn on her until afterward.

As for Edward, I seriously do NOT believe that he wasn't mad. Your fiancee just kissed another man, how can you not be mad? I believe Edward was angry, but he kept his anger inside for a few reasons. One being that he didn't want to yell at Bella and hurt her even more. Two being that he and Jacob were still playing "The Game" and he heard that Jacob was expecting him to get mad, so he wasn't going to play into Jacob's plan. Three being that he knows Bella still loves him more, and in the end, it's better for her to know her feelings and still choose him. So in a way, he's kind of thankful. The only thing he was mad about was the simple fact that they kissed.

I put a lot more thought into Jacob's perspective on the kiss. From Jacob's perspective, here's how I personally see it: He was completely broken when finding out Bella was engaged. In his mind, he failed to save Bella's life. He didn't try hard enough, and now it's too late. But when Edward brings him back, he feels like this is fate giving him one last chance to save her. She needs to realize that she loves him. He can only think of 2 options - 1. Get her to ask for a kiss or 2. Just kiss her without permission. Both options don't seem like they'll work. Jacob would rather not go with option 2, because he tried that before and Bella didn't like it. He doesn't want to do that again. So he goes with option 1, which also isn't very likely to work. She's engaged, she wouldn't kiss another man while engaged. But he's going to at least try. He tells her that he'll get himself killed. He doesn't like manipulating her like this, but Edward excels at it and she LOVES him. After seeing Bella's reaction, he's halfway pleased that she cares but halfway saddened that she's hurt. He decides to be more truthful and just say that he won't get killed on purpose, he'll just try his best. Now he sees his option 1 plan crumbling, so he starts wondering whether he should go with option 2 or just walk off and forget the whole thing. But then, Bella asks him to kiss her. Jacob is shocked. He's shocked, but he's not going to let this opportunity escape him. He kisses her, but his hopes fall as Bella becomes hesitant. But he's not going to give up, he's gone too far to turn back now, he's so close, she's so close, so he pushes Bella further. Not sure whether that was a good idea or not, but he's thrilled that Bella's reacting back (her pulling his hair). So he gets more gentle with her and kisses her passionately, making himself defenseless. He's not thinking that he won or that he has triumphed, right now he's just overjoyed that Bella's responding. Now Jacob is just enjoying the moment, but he knows he has to go. So he leaves, hoping that that kiss made a difference. Edward will most likely get mad at her and he doesn't want Bella to get yelled at, but on the other hand it could only strengthen his chances. It would make Bella see that he isn't perfect, and she might just make that healthier choice. Her human life.

Twilight Saga in Japan

I've always been interested in Japan, anime, and manga type stuff. So naturally I was curious about how popular Twilight was in Japan. I already knew that the books were released in Japan with manga style illustrations in them, but how popular were they? I ended up finding a Japanese launch site for Eclipse film as well as a community site which is linked to the launch site. Apparently the Eclipse film was just released in Japan on 11/6. The community site also seemed pretty active from what I saw, so I'll assume that Twilight is rather popular in Japan. Telling my friends that I like Twilight

I'm not sure if people already know this, but I've yet to tell my friends that I like Twilight. When it comes to Twilight, I'm pretty damn embarrassed. I've never bought any of the books or DVDs because I'm to embarrassed to go into a store and even pick them up. The most daring thing I've done was buy 5 buttons at a convention. 2 of the buttons were Twilight related, one said "Team Jacob" the other "Team Anti Bella". And of course, I'd never wear those buttons in public (It especially doesn't help that the Team Jacob one has a heart on it. Ugh.).

Thing is, I really want to just get this whole liking of Twilight off my chest. I don't like being sneaky and hiding it from people. I don't like not being able to check out the latest goings on because my friends are around. And I don't like not owning a single Twilight product. But I'm just really afraid of what they'll think, because ALL of my friends HATE Twilight. They think it's the stupidest thing ever. So what will be their reaction to me, not only having experienced the series, but being a fan?

So far, only one of my friends knows for sure that I like Twilight. But this friend is a lot more understanding than my other friends, so he's okay with it. Plus, he also enjoys things that my other friends would consider stupid, like High School Musical, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and stuff like that. Another one of my friends only really suspects me of liking Twilight. He saw that I had some Twilight pictures on my laptop, gave me an accusing look, and jokingly said "Am I gonna have to hurt you?"

This is weird, because I've never been embarrassed for liking something before. If I like something, I like it and I don't hide it. Except for Twilight.

First subject: For some reason, I'm not getting notified of changes to the Wiki like I use to. Before, I'd check my email and find that I have like 15 new messages telling me that the Jacob page has been changed or the Bella page has new comments. But now I only get like 2 messages. It's weird because I go to the recent activity page and find that those pages DID get edited. So how come I wasn't notified?

Second subject: You know, before Twilight became so popular, nobody really cared about vampires. If I were to think of a monster, I'd think of a zombie or a ghost or something. Now that Twilight is so insanely popular, I'm seeing vampire related stuff EVERYWHERE. Werewolves too (not as much but still). Now it's like vampires are the first thing you'd think of when it comes to monsters. Whenever someone mentions a vampire, someone else has to mention Twilight in some way too. It's happened so many times in chats and forums.

Breaking Dawn film will have more sex?

This didn't surprise me too much at first. In the book, all the times Edward and Bella were about to do it, the book would just skip to afterward. I mean, I didn't want to read about them having sex in extreme detail or anything, but skipping the whole thing is pretty lame. So I assumed that the article I read meant that the movie would actually show all the times they had sex, but that's not what they meant. Apparently Edward and Bella aren't the only couples who'll be having sex in the movie.

Who else is there? Seriously. They were the only couple who even had the time to "get it on" in the book. No one else did. How the heck is the movie gonna pull that off? I was already not looking forward to watching Edward and Bella have sex, but now I have to worry about other people too? AAAAHH!! X(

What do vampires smell like?

So Jacob described vampires as smelling sickeningly sweet, but what does that smell like? Here's my guess: I think that vampires smell like a mixture of bleach and pancakes, pancakes drenched in syrup that have been sitting out for days or maybe weeks. Or maybe just syrup that's severely pasted it's expiration date. That mixed with the stinging smell of bleach would definitely burn a werewolf's nose.

Twilight Video Game?

So a while ago I said that there was no Twilight video game and there never should be. The only way they can make a good Twilight game, is if the game was very unrelated to Twilight. Like a Twilight fighting game. It's a ridiculous idea because there isn't much fighting in Twilight, but it'd be awesome. Imagine Emmett doing a shoryuken, of course it'd never happen though. Well apparently there is a Twilight game, Scene It Twilight Edition for Wii and DS. I mean it isn't a real 'game' game, it's just Scene It. Now I love video games and Twilight, but there's no way in hell that I'd buy this game. First of all I'm too embarrassed to buy a Twilight product, and second of all the game is an embarrassment itself. I mean, the game ONLY covers the Twilight FILM. They ask questions that happened in the film and not the book. It also only covers Twilight, not the rest of the series. However, the main reason is because this game was pretty much made to appeal to the screaming fangirls who watch the movie everyday and drool over Edward posters on their wall. It's just too much for me. If anyone who didn't like Twilight played this game, they'd dislike it far more than they ever had...or they'd die. So if you're trying to convince someone that Twilight isn't as bad as everyone says, DO NOT let them play this game.

Carlisle says this to whoever's in 1st, "You sparkle like a diamond."

Weirdest. Dream. EVER!!

Ok, so as far as I can remember, here's what happened:

I went to go see Breaking Dawn. In the movie, a Meowth (you know, from Pokemon) got its hands on a cloaking device or a disguise or something. The Meowth planned on entering a college campus and steal something valuable in it. So he goes in to steal the valuable thing. But Edward sees through his cloaking device or disguise or...whatever, and tries to stop him. At blinding speed he runs after the Meowth. But then out of nowhere, Carlisle runs in and attacks Edward to stop him from harming the Meowth. They start fighting right in the middle of the court yard where everyone can see them, Edward saying stuff like "What are you doing?" while they fight. I noticed that the fight scene was pretty awesome, especially compared to Eclipse (film) fight scenes. But then...Edward sweeped Carlisle to the ground, had his foot ready, and STOMPED HIM IN THE NUTS!!!! Carlisle let out an earth shattering scream...and I woke up. O_o

I sat there for a good 10 minutes evaluating the dream I just had. Aside from the horrible horrible ending, I realized that ALL of the dream made absolutely no sense. Why was a Meowth in Breaking Dawn? Where'd it get that cloaking device? What was it trying to steal? Why's it at a college? Why's Edward at a college? Why would Edward care, doesn't he have other things to worry about (like Bella dying)? Why's Carlisle trying to stop Edward? Why are they fighting where everyone can see them, like being a vampire's no secret? And WHY OH WHY did Edward stomp Carlisle in the BALLS!!? Edward likes Carlisle right? He's his father right? Is there some kind of vampire rule for fighting that says hitting below the belt is okay?

I don't think I can look at Edward and Carlisle the same way again anymore. And it's not fair because it was a stupid stupid dream, but...whenever I look at Carlisle I'm gonna get all sad and feel sorry for him. And whenever I look at Edward I'm gonna imagine what an a**hole he is. I'm sorry, I just had to tell someone about this stupid dream before I forgot it. I forget dreams easily, but this one stuck... -_-;

ARGH!! Carlisle's scream!!! So TERRIBLE!!!

Eclipse film makes me...sad?

The college I go to has free friday movie nights and last friday's showing was Eclipse. I decided to go, even though it was embarrassing. I'm just glad that no one I knew saw me. *phew* Anyway, I went and the usual happened. Girls going "aww" at the Edward and Bella scenes, girls going "wooo" whenever Jacob had his shirt off, girls going "yaay" when Edward proposed to Bella, girls going "AH" during the fight scenes, and applause at the end. But at the end of the movie, I walked out and realized that...I was...sad. I didn't get why I was so sad. I just felt like going back to my dorm, put my head on my desk, and mope. I tried thinking of why, and I came up with a decent conclusion, I think it was because I didn't like watching Jacob try and try and lose in the end. It doesn't really make sense though, I've seen this movie 6 times (don't ask how) and I never felt sad about it until this time. I knew what was going to happen. Then I thought that maybe it has something to do with the rejection scene. That scene in the film was terrible compared to the book. In the book that scene was pretty sweet because Bella let out all her feelings for Jacob. In the movie, Bella was bascially like "I'm choosing Edward, sorry, bye." So maybe the fact that Jacob tried so hard and all he got was that, kind of upset me, plus no epilogue. I also made note of all the times that Jacob's Theme played in the background, and that song is freaking sad itself. Then again, it's not like I hadn't paid attention to those things the last few times I watched, so why now did it make me so sad? Maybe because I was in a crowd? I don't know. I actually feel like reading Eclipse again and see how I feel after reading that. Will I feel sad again?

Has anyone else felt this way or something similar when watching/reading Twilight?

So the first Twilight related thing I did was watch the Twilight movie. Then I saw New Moon and then Eclipse. After that, I decided to read the books. First New Moon, then Eclipse, then Breaking Dawn, and finally Twilight. After that, I decided to check out Midnight Sun and Second Life of Bree Tanner. I read Midnight Sun all the way through and just last night, I finished Bree Tanner..............What do I do now!!? I hate when this happens, I get into a series, I finsh the series, and I'm upset that it's over. What else is there for me to do now? I don't want it to be over. :(

My New Opinion on Edward Cullen

Ok, so if you've ever read my profile, you'll know that my 2 most hated characters are Bella and Edward, but mostly Bella. On Edward, I thought he was lame, creepy, emo, had no personality, boring, and yet he was apparently perfect in everyway. Ugh! As soon as I watched Twilight and Edward said "You're like my own personal brand of heroin." I knew that I was gonna hate this guy. And I did. HOWEVER! After reading Midnight Sun, I have a new opinion on Edward. I actually...kinda sorta like him...kinda sorta. See, I realized that I hated Edward because in the books, I was seeing him through Bella's eyes. And Bella always went on and on about how unbelievably perfect he was and it made me sick. He seemed very boring to me, but after reading the story through Edward's own eyes, I see now that he ISN'T perfect, not at all. His emotions and feelings are as imperfect as a human's. He's not all that boring either, his thoughts are far more interesting than Bella's. He still barely has a personality, but it's more of one than I thought he had. Reading Midnight Sun also made me realize something else, I HATE BELLA EVEN MORE NOW! God, I didn't think it was possible. Midnight Sun showed me that ANY character's POV is better than Bella's. I thought I would read Midnight Sun and have a terrible time reading through Edward's eyes, but it was pretty cool. So yeah, I don't hate Edward anymore, however he's still creepy, still kinda lame, pretty emo, barely has a personality. and even more of a stalker than I thought. But at least he's not boring and perfect anymore.

Edward VS Jacob! The fight we all wanna see!

There are a lot of things that I wanted to see in the Twilight Saga that never happened (I won't go through the list). But there's one thing that I wanted to see most, and that's an Edward and Jacob fight. Seriously, why didn't Meyer do this? They're the series' biggest rivals. Rivals are suppose to fight each other at least once. Well anyway, if they did fight, who do you think would've won?

Of course, I'm all for Jacob, so I say Jacob would win. :) But I'm not gonna say that he'd totally own Edward and beat him to the ground. It would be a VERY VERY close fight, something I'd love to see. Edward's got the upperhand in mind reading and MAYBE speed, while Jacob's got the upperhand in overall strength. I said that Edward might have the upperhand in speed but might not, because although he's the fastest Cullen, werewolves are faster than vampires in general, and it's not like Jacob's slow at all. Now as for the mind reading, yeah that could be a problem for Jacob. However, I was thinking that maybe Jacob could act on instincts alone and not think to hard about his strategies. He would simply attack Edward based on what his instincts tell him and Edward wouldn't be able to make them out so well. On the other hand, he'd be acting on instincts and not so much strategy, so that's also a disadvantage. If Jacob did manage to get his hands...er...paws/jaws on Edward, Jacob would probably over power him. So for Edward, it's a matter of staying away and making sure Jake doesn't catch him, because if he does, he can kiss his head goodbye.

That's what I think. It would've been so awesome.

Jacob's Force Kiss! Good or Bad?

Kay so. I was thinking, what if Jacob had confessed his love for Bella, but never forcibly kissed her? How would the story have turned out differently? Would it have turned out better for Jacob, worse, or would nothing have changed at all? The only thing I could come up with was: If he'd never kissed her, then Bella may not have suggested they kiss when Jacob said that he was going to kill himself. Bella may have denied it, but I'm pretty sure that force kiss triggered something in her. Maybe if they never kissed, Bella may not have felt so strongly about him when he found out she and Edward were getting married. Same thing for Jacob, he may not have felt so strongly and might not have run away. Thus, it's slightly possible that they may have never kissed and Bella may have never found out that she loved him. Or if I went to extremes, Jacob could have actually gotten killed in battle since he'd be fighting without a clear head (thinking about Bella and Edward getting married).

What do you guys think? And can I please have some thoughtful answers. Don't post anything like: "OF COURSE IT WAS BAD!! JACOB KISSING BELLA??? EWWW!! TEAM EDWARD!!!" None of that please.

Twilight Meets Pokemon

So Pokemon Black and White came out today in Japan and it's got my really excited. So I came up with a silly idea, what if the Twilight and Pokemon worlds collided. This is my first real fan fic I think.

EDWARD CULLEN

It started out pretty normally. Jasper, Emmett, and I got thirsty, so we decided to head up into the mountains to feed. However, Emmett had a "brilliant" idea, and decided to go further.

"Where are we going, Em?" Jasper wondered. I was wondering the same thing, was Emmett just bored of the same routine?

"I'm just bored of the same routine; can't we hunt somewhere we've never hunted before?" Emmett explained.

"I guess. It's just...I didn't expect to have this simple hunt turn into an adventure." I said, trying to hide my slight curiosity.

We ran further and further north, hours had passed even. Jasper's thoughts were crowded with questions and concern.

Where are we going? What's the point? I'm not exactly up for this. Alice'll be worried.

"Alright, this looks good." Emmett thought to himself.

"We're finally here?" I asked

"Yep, don’t know where 'here' is, but it looks good."

"Great..."

We touched down in a forest. There was no sign of any wild life. The trees around here were a dark brown with brilliantly bright green leaves, the contrast between dark and bright seemed almost magical. One tree in particular caught my eye. It was rather small and had round bright green bush-like leaves on its branches. I'd never seen rounded leaves before. Jasper and Emmett were looking around, but I started walking toward the odd tree. It was even stranger up close; I noticed that it also had two roots that held it upright, almost like feet. I couldn't help but touch it, but its bark was as hard as stone. If I wasn't so sure that it was a tree, I'd have thought it was stone. I started to trace my finger along its branches and suddenly I heard a strange soft sound.

"Sudo..."

I flinched and started to step away from the tree. I must have gone mad, it sounded like it came from the tree itself.

"Uh...Em, Jazz, have you guys seen...?

"GRIZZLY!!" I heard Emmett shout.

I raced over to where Emmett and Jasper were. Just as Emmett said, there was a bear about 35 feet away from them. Strange though, it was definitely a bear, but it didn't look like any bear I'd ever seen. It was brown, had a large rounded tail, a circle on its belly, and what looked like shoulder pads, only they were attached to its fur. It also stood straight up in the same way a human did, as if it had no intention to get on all fours. Definitely not a grizzly bear, Jasper shared the same thought.

"That doesn't look like a grizzly, Emmett." Jasper doubted.

"It's totally a grizzly, a weird grizzly, but totally a grizzly. Besides, it smells amazing. Almost as good as a human." Emmett gasped with excitement.

I had to admit, it did smell pretty good, much better than most bears or animals in general that we ate. When Emmett kills this thing, I'm hoping that he'll share. If not, I could always find one of my own. There must be more than one of these things, I guess coming out all this way wasn't such a bad idea after all. But...that's when it hit me, where are we anyway? When we were running, all I was concerned about was when we'd get there rather than where we were heading.

"Sorry guys, this one's all mine. Go find your own." Emmett started edging closer to the bear.

The bear noticed Emmett's movements and stood its ground. The bear's eyes seemed rather intelligent as it stared at Emmett with weary concern. Emmett crouched down, ready to spring at the right moment. The bear saw this and it too got ready. It took a deep breath, tilted its head back, and took one step back while still standing tightly in place. I'm guessing it was getting ready to roar. Emmett sprang with his arms out in front of him and bearing his teeth. Suddenly, there was a flash of blinding light and a screeching noise that echoed all around the forest. The light kept me from fully seeing what happened, which surprises me a great deal, since my eyesight is much better than that of a human. The light faded and I heard a loud crash against a tree to my right. Jasper and I immediately looked up and saw Emmett falling high from the tree. Another loud crash as Emmett fell to the ground.

"EMMETT!" Both Jasper and I yelled

We ran towards Emmett, lying on the ground motionless, but when we saw the condition Emmett was in, we both jerked to stop. His t-shirt was torn apart, his chest was cracked and darkened, and what worried me the most was his missing arm. He wasn't moving. Jasper then started examining the area.

"His arm...where...?" Jasper muttered.

I started to look around too. All I saw were fragments of Emmett's torn shirt, more leaves on the ground which fell along with Emmett, and the bear. The bear wasn't hurt at all; it stood up straight, shoulders out, hands into fists, and was growling what sounded like "Ursa...ursa..." What was that bright light anyway? Just then, Jasper's thoughts answered my question.

That light. The bear did it. I don't know how, did it shoot that light from its mouth? That's crazy.

It was crazy. Impossible. Though, that tree I came across wasn't normal either. Rock hard bark, round leaves, making noises. There was definitely something not normal about this forest and everything in it.

"WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT!!?" Emmett shouted, interrupting my thoughts and making both me and Jasper jump.

"Emmett, you're alright?" Jasper asked urgently, examining his condition.

"MY ARM! AAAAAARGH!!!" Emmett screamed, echoing throughout the forest just like the noise that followed the bright light.

"We need to get you back to Carlisle."

"No! That bear is gonna pay!"

"Emmett, look at yourself."

"I don't care. No bear is gonna get the best of me. NOT AGAIN!!"

"Don't be ridiculous. If that bear really did do this to you, I doubt you're a match for it, especially as you are now."

Emmett growled furiously.

"Edward, go find Emmett's arm."

I immediately started searching. My searching carried me to the eastern part of the forest. There I saw Emmett's arm, amazing how it got this far away. I walked over to it; it was lying on what looked like a large weed. I picked up his arm, which was hard and icy with its hands balled into fists. Just then, the large weed that the arm had been lying on sprang from the ground, making me jump back in surprise. The weed had a very strange round blue root, and the root itself had what looked like eyes, a mouth, and roots of its own that looked like stubby legs.

"Oddish, Oddish!" the strange weed muttered in surprise.

It was a rather tiny thing, cute in a way. It looked up at the arm in my hands and started to shiver and cringe. It then took a few steps toward me and smiled. It bent over in a bowing position, which I'd have thought was impossible with its stubby legs, muttered "Oddish." one more time, and ran off. This was definitely not an ordinary forest, is it possible that there are more mythical creatures in this world that even I don't know about? I headed back toward where Emmett and Jasper were. What I came to though wasn't something I'd wanted to see. Dammit Emmett.

"Let me go Jasper!" Emmett shouted.

"Get a grip Emmett, let it go!" Jasper muttered through his teeth, trying to restrain Emmett.

Emmett was trying so desperately to get at the bear. The bear also looked ready to fight. Its hands were balled into fists like Emmett's, but as I looked at its right hand I nearly dropped Emmett's arm in surprise. The bear's right hand was on fire, completely engulfed in a flame that got more violent as the bear got angrier. The bear however didn't seem to feel the heat of the fire, its facial expressions were still angry but not in pain at all. If I were crazy, I'd say the bear planned on using that flame as a weapon, like brass knuckles only with fire.

I then heard a loud hiss come from Emmett and he was once again springing toward the bear. My eyes jolted toward Jasper, wondering how he had escaped his grasp.

Dammit, Emmett is really serious. That idiot. Ouch...

I glanced at Jasper's left arm and a new set of bite marks, but not long enough for me to miss what Emmett was doing. Turns out I wasn't crazy after all; the bear took a swing at Emmett with its hand that was on fire. Emmett dodged out of the way by an inch and grabbed the bear by the neck with his good arm. He then slammed the bear to the ground with a loud slam. The bear then shouted "Saring!" in pain. Emmett's face turned smug and he started to bear his teeth again.

"You're mine." Emmett muttered in a quiet voice that humans probably couldn't hear.

Emmett, with his mouth wide open to bite, lunged for the bear’s neck. Emmett came about 5 inches from the bear's neck, before the bear's fiery hand slammed against Emmett's face. Emmett flew a good 25 feet before hitting the same tree he'd hit before, when the bear made that bright light. Emmett's face was cracked and darkened, matching his chest. Our cold skin can't stand heat, so I cringed at imagining the pain Emmett must have felt when that flaming fist crushed his face. It was super effective.

Jasper rushed toward Emmett and in a flash was at my side with Emmett over his shoulder. The bear slowly got up off the ground, still growling. Jasper however was more than ready to leave.

"Let’s get the hell out of here." Jasper said in disgust.

Jasper hated this place; however I found it very interesting. But with my brother in his condition, we definitely couldn't stay for much longer. I guess I'll have to come back some other time. I wonder if I should bring Bella and Nessie along with me. This place can be dangerous, but only one of the creatures I encountered was violent and that was only because it was provoked. The tiny blue weed showed me that the creatures here can be gentle. Jasper starting running towards home and I followed.

"Okay...that was my bad...sorry." Emmett muttered to my surprise. He was okay enough to talk.

Before we fully exited the strange forest, I heard weird noises. It sounded like something opening up, followed by a sort of noise that I'd heard in old sci-fi films, and a click. Jasper ignored the sound, focusing strictly on leaving. The last thing I heard was a human voice, the voice of a young man. It was far away obviously, sounded like it came from where we left the bear. The voice was far away, but I was able to make out a "gotcha".

“It said ‘Oddish’? Are you sure you’re not on anything?” Jacob snorted.

Jacob's always been my favorite character and I've also known that throughout most of the series, his life kind of sucked. But I'm starting to see more and more just how BAD Jacob got it. He started out as a happy carefree guy that loved cars. He starts hanging out with Bella and eventually falls in love. Then he turns into werewolf and his life starts to become more complicated. He can't see Bella anymore because of him being a werewolf, so now his life sucks even more. He eventually works things out, his life is still complicated, but at least he can still see Bella. But here come the vampires and Bella runs right back to them, leaving Jacob in the dust. Life sucks even more now. So Jacob decides not to give up and tries to win Bella back. But things just have to always go badly with Jacob, because he finds out that Bella wants to be a vampire. So now, he may never see Bella ever again. Life sucks. So now Jacob is desperate. He tells Bella he loves her, he tries to convince her that she loves him too, he tries everything. Well, he does accomplish one thing, Bella does realize that she's in love with Jacob. Yay...right...? No. Even that's not enough. She still chooses Edward, and now that there's nothing left to try, he has to give up. Life sucks. Now he's super depressed, angry, heartbroken, no happiness whatsoever. But he at least tries to be happy for Bella and support her. But oh god, oh dear god, things just have to get worse and worse. Bella plains on having sex with Edward while she's still human. So now, Jacob has to worry not only about them being together, not only about Bella becoming a vampire, but her DYING as well. Anger is the only thing that fuels him right now. So Bella doesn't die, instead she carrys a life sucking baby with her. Life sucks. More anger. But at least he's not alone in hating the situation. Even Edward hates the baby. At least that's something. At least he realizes the terrible thing he did to her. But, like always, things never go Jacob's way. Edward starts to like the baby too. Now Jacob's all alone on this one. He's in so much pain that he tries to do what he never wanted to do, imprint. He hated the idea of imprinting, but at least it would rid him of his pain. BUT NOT ON THE VERY THING THAT WAS CAUSING HIS PAIN IN THE FIRST PLACE!! He imprints, he imprints on the life sucking baby, the baby that he had so much hatred for, now that hatred suddenly turns into love. Not only that, but his love for Bella also disappears just as suddenly. So this is Jacob's happiness. To care for and nurture a baby 24/7, play with her, do everything for her, and watch her in a way that's not far from pedophilia? Jacob's happy ending suuuuuuucks. I've said this before, but if the old Jacob could see the new Jacob, he'd be pretty damn pissed. And the whole thing IS pedophilia. No matter how you look at it, I don't care if the feelings don't become romantic until she comes of age, it's still freaking creepy. Quil too. Jacob deserves soooo much better, but Meyer screwed him the f**k over. Poor Jacob. :(

Alternate Ending: If Bella and Jacob kissed in New Moon

Rosalie holds off on telling Edward that Bella jumped off the cliff. Bella and Jacob are able to kiss with no interruptions, and Bella realizes that she's in love with Jacob (basically an early Eclipse kiss). Alice then comes in and tells Bella that she'll leave tomorrow and she'll tell everyone that she's alright. Bella wants to spend the rest of her time left with Alice and wants Jacob to be with her. Jacob reluctantly agrees and ends up hating Alice just a little bit less. 3 months pass and Bella and Jacob's love for each other grows. But one night, Edward appears in Bella's bedroom. He begs Bella for forgiveness and to take him back. Bella is happy that Edward had always loved her, but tells him that she already has Jacob. Edward then asks to see Jacob. They meet and Edward tells Jacob that he wishes them both the best. Knowing that it'd be best to stay away from Bella, he promises to leave Bella alone. Jacob is happy, but Bella tells him no. Even though Bella loves Jacob now, she still wants Edward in her life. Edward however ignores Bella and stays away, but the Cullens move back to Forks and Edward finds it very difficult to stay away, as she's all he ever thinks about. Thus, the roles of Edward and Jacob are switched for the most part in Eclipse. Even though he knows it's better for Bella to be with Jacob, he decides to fight for her as he can't stand being away. Although Bella is happy that Edward wants to spend time with her, she finds it difficult when he starts acting romantic towards her. Jacob jokingly suggest marriage so Edward will have to stay away, which Bella laughs about. Edward forces a kiss on Bella and she punches him, breaking her hand. She's outraged and lets out all her anger she had bottled up about Edward leaving her in New Moon. This hits Edward HARD. Jacob finds out and is ready to kill Edward, which Edward is willing to let happen. Even though Bella's still mad at Edward, she doesn't want him to die. So Jacob simply punches him instead. At the graduation party, Edward apologizes and gives Bella his mother's bracelet. Edward continues to fight for her though. When Bella and Jacob spend the night together, he gives Bella his wolf bracelet and suggests the marriage again, this time in a less joking manner. Bella immediately says no, but Jacob says he'll try anything to make Edward go away. After mentioning Edwards name, Bella agrees to marry Jacob, much to his shock. They agree it'll be a long engagement since Jacob's still in high school. On the morning of the Newborn Battle, Edward over hears Bella and Jacob's marriage plans and runs away. Jacob brings him back and leaves them to talk. Edward says that he plans on getting himself killed. Bella begs for him to stay and says that she'll kiss him if he does. They kiss and Bella remembers just how much she's in love with Edward. She remembers their time together in Twilight and misses it. She also realizes that she's been pushing Edward away because she was afraid that she'd love him more and hurt Jacob. Jacob finds out and is angry of course, but not at Bella. He decides to take his anger out on the newborns instead of Edward. Edward/Seth still fight Victoria/Riley and Jacob still gets injured in battle. Bella meets the Volturi for the first time, but since they are told that she and Edward aren't together often enough, they don't consider her enough of a threat. Bella rushes to Jacob right away and spends all her time with him while he heals. During this time, Bella realizes exactly how strong her love for Jacob is, stronger than her love for Edward. She's relieved but also saddened at what she has to do now. Edward visits them, and Bella talks to him alone. She tells him that although she loves him deeply and cherishes their time together, she's chosen Jacob. Edward is heartbroken, but officially decides to stop coming between them, and promises to be there when she needs him. They kiss one last time. Edward leaves and Bella starts to cry over rejecting Edward. Jacob overhears and gets out of bed (though still not fully healed) to comfort her. When he sees her, he imprints on her. He's confused why he imprinted on her now, but not before, but he doesn't care since he's too happy. Bella tells Jacob her choice and Jacob is even more relieved as she was. Jacob tells Bella how terrified he was that Edward would win her over and turn her into a vampire. Time passes, Bella decided to stay with Jacob instead of going to college. Jacob has mixed feelings, he's happy with being closer to Bella but doesn't want her to miss out on college. Charlie isn't happy. Edward has been away for a long time, trying to escape the pain he's in. Bella misses him a lot. Jacob graduates a year early (motivated by being with Bella), and the two plan their marriage. Jacob tries to find Edward and invite him as the best man. No luck. During the wedding, Edward shows up and Bella is thrilled. Jacob thanks Edward for coming. During their honeymoon, Bella and Jacob make love and Bella gets pregnant. They return home with the news. Even though Edward knew this would happen eventually, he's still somewhat disgusted. But during the pregnancy, Edward spends as much time with Bella as he can, helping any way he can. He often makes jokes about Bella giving birth to a puppy. The relationship between the Cullens and Quileutes become a bit more friendly during this time. Jacob, Edward, and Rosalie help deliver the baby. It's a boy and Bella names him Edward. This makes Edward happy, but also sad. A few weeks later, Bella starts wishing that she could be with Jacob forever and wishes she were a werewolf too. She then tells Jacob and Edward that she wants to become a vampire so that she can be with Jacob forever. Both Jacob and Edward are outraged by the idea, one of the reasons Edward decided not to come between them anymore was because she could live a human life. Bella starts to reason with them and says that if she and Jacob truly loved each other, it wouldn't matter if she was a vampire or not. But this just makes Jacob angrier, so much so, that he phases into a wolf out of rage. Edward instinctively attacks Jacob to protect Bella. They start fighting in the backyard of Jacob's house. After a few minutes of fighting, Bella yells at them to stop. Jacob stops immediately, realizing what he'd done, and runs into the woods. Bella runs after him and tries to comfort him. Jacob is disgusted by himself, saying that he almost became Sam. Bella continues to comfort him saying that she doesn't blame him. Jacob is so upset, that he agrees to let Bella become a vampire, anything to make it up to her. Edward however is still angry, when Bella asks him to change her, he refuses. But Bella is persistent and Edward gives in. 3 days later, Bella becomes a vampire. Jacob is overjoyed that even though she's a "sexy bloodsucker", he still loves her. When Edward sees Bella as a vampire, his love for her sky rockets. Knowing that he officially gave up on Bella, she's married, she has a baby, and that Jacob imprinted on her, he knows that it's impossible to try and fight for her anymore. Edward's pain becomes excruciating and unbearable, so he attempts to run to the Volturi to be killed. Bella and Jacob stop him however and Bella begs for him to stay. She even offers to kiss him again, but Edward declines, knowing it would only make him feel worse. Edward starts to run again, but Jacob blocks his way, saying that he'll tear his legs off if that's what it takes for him to stay. Bella starts to beg again, and Edward reluctantly agrees to not run to the Volturi, but still wants to be alone. He runs into the woods alone, but ends up meeting Leah. They talk for a little bit and learn to understand each other, since they both lost people they care about. Edward still feels pain, but after talking to Leah, it becomes a bit more bearable. Jacob finds Edward and Leah's friendship amusing and even teasing by saying that maybe Edward has found love afterall. 7 years pass, Bella, Jacob, and Young Edward live happily together. The Cullens build them a small house to live in, and Jacob continues to phase and protect La Push while Bella takes some college classes close to home. Edward is still in pain, but stays close friends with Bella and Jacob. Irina comes to visit the Cullens, but then sees Bella and Jacob together. She's disgusted that Bella's so close to the werewolf that killed Laurant, especially now that she's a vampire. She runs to tell the Volturi, but the Volturi don't see any threat on the matter. However, because Aro wants Edward and Alice to join them, this gives them a reason to visit. Alice sees them coming and tells everyone. They call the Denali coven to help defend, they're hesitant at first, but agree to help since they're family. Tanya and Edward spend a lot of time together while they're there to catch up. Edward normally spends time with Leah when he gets the chance, but Tanya took that time away from him. Leah starts to hate Tanya and they almost end up fighting. The Quileute boys think that she's jealous and secretly likes Edward. She immediately denies this, though no one believes her. Edward makes it up to Leah by spending the entire saturday together. During that time, Leah can't help but think about being in love with a vampire. Edward listens in on her thoughts, but doesn't say anything. Edward accidently leads Leah to the meadow he and Bella use to go to. Being in the meadow causes his pain for Bella to ache. Leah sees Edward in pain and realizes that seeing him in pain causes her pain. She tries to comfort him, and Edward starts feeling a little better. And...before they could even think about it...they kissed. After they kiss, they walk back home without saying a word. Edward listens in on Leah's thoughts, and doesn't hear any regret. Edward takes Leah home and they promise not to say anything about it. The next day, Young Edward starts to get a fever and is suddenly a bit agitated. Young Edward hears Alice and Bella talk about the Volturi and how things could end badly. Suddenly, Young Edward phases into a wolf, much to Alice and Bella's shock. When Jacob sees his son as a wolf, he's shocked but also very proud. He takes Young Edward to Sam and he's shocked too. Everyone is confused since Young Edward is only 7 and hasn't entered manhood yet. They try to make since of it (they did the same for Jacob's imprinting on Bella), but Jacob didn't really care, he was too proud. Young Edward wants to fight in the battle with the Volturi, but Bella doesn't want him to get hurt. Jacob however promises to train Young Edward and the wolf pack welcomes him with open arms. The day of the Volturi's arrival comes closer, Bella practices her shielding, Jacob, Young Edward, and the pack practice fighting the Cullens and Denalis, and Edward does some independant training. Edward and Leah continue to spend time together, but do not talk about the kiss. Although Leah thinks about it often and Edward hears. Tanya becomes jealous and asks Edward to come with her somewhere alone. They go to a cliff area where they can see the full moon. She tells Edward how much she likes him, but Edward says that he's just not ready yet. Tanya gets angry saying that he'll never be ready, and then kisses him unexpectedly, which Edward didn't like. The wolf pack was training nearby, and when Leah sees what happened, she attacks Tanya. The other wolves break them up before any permanent damage could be done. Out of anger, Tanya then runs back to the Cullens to tell them that she and the rest of the Denali are leaving. After seeing Leah attack Tanya like that, the wolves confirmed it to themselves that Leah does love Edward. Some of them are disgusted (especially Sam), but Seth, Jacob, and Young Edward are happy for her. She tells them to shut up as nothing is official. Tanya tells the Cullens that she's leaving, but Carlisle asks her not to. The rest of the Denali don't want to leave either. Tanya calms down and decides to stay, she apologizes to Edward and wishes he and Leah the best. Everyone starts to assume that Edward has found love in Leah, and both Edward and Leah become very annoyed by it. Edward visits Bella and Jacob, but they aren't home. Young Edward is there however, and tells him that they went off to be alone together at their "secret spot". Edward starts to feel pain again, imagining what they could be doing. Young Edward sees that he's in pain and offers some Tylenol. Edward then chuckles and says that Tylenol couldn't fix his pain. Edward reads Young Edward's thoughts and is surprised that he knows nothing about his and Bella's former relationship. This makes Edward believe that maybe Bella wants to pretend it never happened, which makes his pain excruciating. Young Edward then hugs Edward when he sees how much he's hurt, believing that hugs solve everything. Edward then tells Young Edward about their love triangle and Young Edward is shocked. He hugs Edward even tighter, starts crying, and asks if there's anything he can do to help him. Edward then realizes why Bella never told him, because Young Edward is too caring of a person. He would have worried and come looking for Edward to try and help, which would only make Edward feel worse. But after spending some time with Young Edward, he feels a little better, and promises Young Edward that he'll be fine. It's the first time Edward and Young Edward really talked. The day finally comes, all the Volturi arrive in the clearing. As Caius is haunted by werewolves, he considers vampires and werewolves joining forces to be a huge threat. He feels that if other vampires were to discover how strong a vampire/werewolf coven can be, they'd try to make some themselves. Edward tries to explain that they aren't really werewolves, but Caius isn't willing to listen. Since Aro wants Edward and Alice to join him, he takes Caius' side, as long as they spare those two. The Volturi attack, but Bella's shield helps protect everyone. Alec and Jane are the first to be killed, but Seth is injured while fighting Demetri. Young Edward finishes Demetri off which Jacob was incredibly happy about. Brady is attacked by Caius and Collin rushes in to protect him. However, Caius was faster and tears into Collin's chest. Brady becomes enraged and attacks back. Jared and Emmett see what happened and attack Caius as well, killing him. While Edward is fighting, he notices Jacob protecting Bella as Bella protects him. He notices how in sync they are and how they can still look at each other with adoration in their eyes even while fighting. Edward starts to feel his pain once again, causing him to lose his focus in battle. He then comes to the conclusion that he can't escape his pain alive, the only way is through death. This time nobody could stop him and it wouldn't be suicide, dying in battle sounds perfect. He rushes a guard and gets his leg torn off, followed by being knocked out. Leah suddenly rushes to Edward's side and protects him. Aro notices that he's lost too many men, and gives up. The Volturi retreat, apologizing for what they did. Edward regains consciousness and Leah is so relieved. Leah tells Edward that she wouldn't know what she'd do without him, and after staring at each other for a bit, Edward realizes that he does have something to live for now. Before, he was only living because Bella told him to, but now he actually wants to live, and it's not for Bella's sake. Edward and Leah then kiss while laying on the ground. They notice that everyone is staring at them, most with their jaw dropped. Leah then tells everyone to shut up. Everyone then runs to Collin who was laying motionless on the ground in his human form. Dead. A few days later, everyone attends his funeral, even normal humans. The story was that someone was getting mugged and Collin protected him, but got stabbed in the process. Brady was especially saddened and gave a speech at the funeral. He blames himself for Collin's death, but everyone constantly reminds him that it's not his fault. Time passes and everything goes back to normal. Bella, Jacob, and Young Edward still live happily. Edward (his leg reattached) and Leah's love steadily grows, it comes to the point that Edward can take Leah to the meadow without feeling any pain. Leah also stops feeling pain for Sam. Sam isn't too happy with their relationship, but is forced to except it. Every now and then, a vampire shows up and the wolf pack take care of it. Seth imprints on a girl at the beach and Brady imprints on Sam and Emily's new born daughter. Embry and Young Edward feel left out. Everyone lives happily and normally...well, as normal as vampires and werewolves get. The End.

THE worst entry in the Twilight Saga. I'm sorry, but I do NOT like it. I HATE it. With a BURNING passion. This book really pissed me off. Whenever I think about Breaking Dawn in anyway, I get angry. After reading it once, I never wanted to experience it again, it was so terrible. I try really hard to ignore Breaking Dawn, pretend it never happened, but it DID happen and I'm forced to accept that. *sigh*

First of all, as I read Breaking Dawn, it didn't feel very Twilight-ish to me. The romance in Breaking Dawn was seriously lacking. Ironically BECAUSE Edward and Bella got married. It was more romantic when they were still working towards the forever and working around all their obstacles. Well now they're married and everything's settled down. A lot of the events seem more...what's the word...darker or unusual for Twilight I guess. First of all, how could Bella have gotten pregnant if vampires don't have bodily fluids or working organs? Like they're described, they're just walking statues. Unless Meyer meant, they don't have any bodily fluids EXCEPT semen. And also, if vampires are frozen in their current state and their bodies can't change at all physically, then how the hell did Edward get an erection to provide the "vampire semen"? Makes no sense.

It also seems like the whole baby thing butchered everyone's character and personality. I never expected Edward to so desperately allow Bella to have sex with Jacob, just so she can have a baby. Didn't know Sam could suddenly, out of nowhere, be willing to kill Bella because he's scared of what might or might not happen. Jacob suddenly wanting to kill the Cullens more than anything, and then, just as suddenly, starts acting friendly towards them. Bella suddenly wanting to KILL her best friend who she use to be in love with. Everyone who had a good character in the other books are now merely a hollow shell of what they once were. It felt like everyone's character, personality, and actions drastically changed simply so that the events of Breaking Dawn would play out how Meyer wanted them. I wish she had stopped to think "Would Sam, Jacob, Bella, etc actually do this?" So many things happen in Breaking Dawn that really shouldn't have, either because it made no sense or it just makes things better for Bella. Even though Bella gets sick from the sight and smell of blood, she was able to drink gallons of it and like it. The baby couldn't have affected all of her senses that much, could it?

Jacob imprinting on Renesmee is one of the biggest things I hate...no, scratch that. It IS the biggest thing I hate. It makes no sense. Why would Jacob imprint on Renesmee of all things? Jacob hated Renesmee more than anything, he wanted her dead. But then he sees her and suddenly (i've been saying suddenly a lot) he imprints. But why her? She's a half vampire, half of her is the natural enemy of Jacob. It makes no sense. Plus, Renesmee shouldn't be able to have babies (considering she stops changing at 7 years and becomes like any female vampire), and I remember reading that another possible reason wolves imprint is to make the best offspring. So how would Jacob and Renesmee be able to do that? It also pisses me off how Jacob could be in love with Bella throughout the series, but then all that love is just thrown out the window, and replaced with the love for a baby. And not just any baby, the daughter of the woman he use to love and his one true enemy. It's like a sick joke that Jacob is forced to enjoy. And no matter how you look at it, Jacob imprinting on a baby kind of makes him a pedo. You can go on saying that Jacob only wants Nessie to be happy and healthy. But the fact is, Jacob is loving and caring for a little baby girl who he will some day, in 7 years, start kissing and having sex with. They sure grow up fast, eh Jacob. Now, go bang her! UGH! Jacob didn't even want to imprint, the idea made him mad. He didn't want his feelings for Bella to disappear either. If the old Jacob could see the new Jacob, I bet he'd be pissed.

Bella's love for Jacob disappears too. Not sure if it's because she became a vampire or if it's because of the imprinting. But the love is definitely gone, I mean Bella tried to kill Jacob. She tried to KILL her best friend who she use to be in love with. Seems pretty lame how a novel about romance could make two people just fall out of love in an instant like that. And Bella and Jacob's love was the only love in the series that was actually real and normal, rather than magical. Apparently normal love is banned in the Twilight universe. I mean GOD, imprinting goes against everything Jacob stood for. The moment he imprinted, Jacob died in my mind. That's not Jacob, that's not the Jacob I know and love (no homo). That's some pedowolf who has become the Cullens new pet. Super lame. The one big thing that made Jacob who he is, was his extreme love for Bella and concern for her well being. He was a huge character because he was extremely important in Bella's life. Not anymore. Now that that's gone, he's not even an important character anymore. He's just there. Seriously, Bella and Jacob didn't interact very much in Book 3 like they use to in the past. They didn't show nearly the same type of love for each other (friendship-wise or lover-wise). It makes me wonder what the hell was the point of all that suffering and struggling if it was just going to end with this dull outcome. I really liked the love triangle and I was hoping SM would actually GO SOMEWHERE with it in the end. ARGH!!

If Jacob HAS to imprint on Renesmee, the least Meyer could have done was show them 7 years later as a couple. Instead we just have to assume that everything works out. ....Actually, scratch that idea. I do NOT want to see that. *shudder* It actually felt like Bella and Jacob were forced into just being friends. Jacob with his imprinting and Bella with her becoming a vampire. Their love for each other didn't naturally disappear over time, it vanished in an instant. It's like Meyer was thinking "OH! I forgot, Bella and Jacob are still in love. Well we need to fix that. Imprint. Done." LAME. And the whole imprinting thing just seems lazy on Meyer's part. Now she doesn't have to bother actually developing Jake and Nessie's relationship, because it's already set in stone with imprinting.

I went into Breaking Dawn also expecting to like Renesmee, but I didn't. Just like her parents, she has no personality. She barely even talks. She just slaps you on the face and shows you what she's thinking. Maybe the characters can get something out of that, but I the reader, cannot. And I absolutly hate what she represents. She is the center of attention in Breaking Dawn because she's apparently sooooo wonderful. She's soooooo perfect. She's all rainbows, sparkles, and butterflies. BLECH! Every single problem that Bella would've had to deal with (including problems Nessie started in the first place) is solved because of Renesmee. It's just terrible writing. Renesmee is Twilight's precious little deus ex machina. She solved all the problems, but she also brought all the crap. Everything I hate about Breaking Dawn is all because of that demon spawn.

Now lets move on to things that happen simply to make things perfect for Bella. Everyone predicted that Bella would be a bloodthirsty, uncontrollable newborn who would need to be far away from her family and friends for at least a few years. But no, she has extremely good control over herself and defies everything that a newborn should be, perfect outcome. Bella should have had to say goodbye to everything in Forks. But no, Jacob imprints on Renesmee so he and the pack can't attack the Cullens, and Charlie gets told everything that's necessary so she won't have to move away or say goodbye to him, perfect outcome. The Volturi were coming to kill everyone and there should have been some kind of battle, they were prepared and everything. But no, because of Bella's new power and Alice finding another vampire/human hybrid in the world, the book ends very anti-climacticly and there's no final battle. PERFECTLY LAME OUTCOME! It didn't take me long to figure out why Jacob imprinted on Nessie. The answer's simple, to make things better for Bella. Now Bella doesn't have to move or say goodbye to Jacob. Jacob's false imprinted happiness doesn't matter as long as Bella gets her perfect ending. That's what Breaking Dawn comes down to, Bella's perfectly perfect sunshine, rainbows, and vampire sparkles ending. Even though Bella's a terrible character who made so many stupid mistakes throughout the series, she NEEDED to get everything she ever wanted even though the b**ch didn't deserve any of it. Why? Because Meyer loves Bella ever so much. F**king Mary Sue!

There are so many other things about Breaking Dawn that I could complain about, but I realize that this rant is becoming quite long. There are SOME things about Breaking Dawn that I did like. Seth and Leah get more character developement, we learn of Alec's power, we finally meet the Denali coven, and I love reading from Jacob's perspective (even though it's not that fun when he's so depressed...still better than Bella). It's because of these things that I can't completely ignore Breaking Dawn. If Meyer could have somehow fit those things into Eclipse, I could ignore Breaking Dawn completely. I realize that many people do like Breaking Dawn, so sorry if I offended you. But Breaking Dawn, to me, was a story that got worse and worse and ended before it could get better. Book 1 and Book 2 were bad, very bad, but Jacob imprinting and the start of Book 3 is when Breaking Dawn became ABSOLUTE SH*T to me. *sigh* :(

We're all Twilight fans here, we all really like the series. But, I'm sure we all also know that there's a HUGE number of people out there who think Twilight is a terrible, poorly written, predictable series; whose only appeal are it's sparkly vampires and gay werewolves who don't wear shirts, to teenage girls who wish their own love life was that ridiculous. We call them Twi-Haters, and there are a LOT of them. Maybe even more than Twi-Hards. I use to be a Twi-Hater, until I actually watched/read the series. Now I'm a fan. But the thing is, I'm an embarrassed fan. I'm surrounded by people who hate Twilight, and I'm a guy so that makes things worse. I haven't even told my friends that I like Twilight yet because they might think I'm gay or something. I'm usually not ashamed to like something that most would find embarrassing. I openly admit to loving Pokemon, Kirby, and a bunch of girl animes. But Twilight is the only thing I'm ashamed to like. I just wanna know if I'm not the only one. Are there other Twilight fans out there who are also embarrassed to like it? Twilight fans who haven't come out of the closet? ;)

I heard that in Japan, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn were split into 13 different volumes. They also had anime/manga style illustrations layed throughout the books. I was wondering if it was possible to buy these books without having to go to Japan itself. I tried eBay, but couldn't find anything. It's not a manga, it's the same books, only in Japanese with a few illustrations.
