As a few of you pointed out, Irina, who doesn't attend the wedding because of the werewolves, does attend the wedding in the movie. That means her fallout regarding Renesmee happens differently in the movie.
Since the books are told from Bella's perspective, we never got to see what the Volturi were thinking before they attacked the Cullens. The pictures show Aro getting the news; it's cool news that we'll see more of the Volturi since they're such a source of fascination for Twihards.
