Okay, for those of you who don't know, I use the program AutoWikiBrowser (abbreviated "AWB") a lot to make many, many edits very fast on the wiki.

The thing is, the program is semi-automated. Meaning usually the program opens up the wiki pages in the edit window for me but I still have to make the edits.

Take this edit for example. I had the program open up pages in the category "New Moon Film cast" and I had the program automatically correct it to "New Moon film cast". Something the program also did automatically was remove the underscores from the file names and correct a citation.

However, if you'll see this edit, I had the program open up all pages in the category "Eclipse film" and remove them from that category. After it did that, I manually removed the categories "Twilight film", "Eclipse film" and "Females" and then saved it one edit.

I review all edits before saving them. So basically, I make all of the edits with the assistance of AWB and sometimes AWB will make edits and I will save them.

So don't be mad if you see me moving up the leaderboard because of my AWB edits, because after all, I did practically make the edit. The chances that AWB made an edit without my assistance is very rare.

So there, I just wanted to let you guys know!

Wiki Stats

Just wanted to do a quick post about the Twilight Saga Wiki's statistics.

As you can see, we have a spike in editors, probably because of the Eclipse film because last year we had a spike in editors around the release of the New Moon film.

Also, we have over 2,200 images and we're approaching 94,000 edits.

This image below shows how many editors have done over 100 edits in a month.

Straight out of left field, another twist in the alleged Robsten engagement. Now there's rumors floating around he's with Leighton Meester. I love how everyone is labeling this story something like "Robert Pattinson cheating on Kristen Stewart with Leighton Meester?" As if their relationship is a matter of fact. I love Leighton so much, she is last person I would have ever expected to be tossed into the rumors.

It's also interesting to note that Metro has deleted their article on the story.

Rob and Kristen Engaged?

The question mark in the title is key here. I went to Google Kristen Stewart when I noticed "kristen stewart in budapest" was in the suggestion box. I was confused and searched it. "Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart to Be Engaged in Budapest" was the first result. I was extremely excited until I realized they site this as their source. I did a little more searching only to find that Gather.com were the only people reporting this. Oh well, but it could happen :)

Yay! I inadvertently created the 400th article on Twilight Saga Wiki. The page is ‎Eclipse set pictures and was created on February 10, 2010.

Here are some other facts about the wiki.

There are 1.5 thousand images.
There are 193.2 thousand words.
There are 2.2 thousand editors.
At this time last year, there were only 73 articles. (check out the first main page!)

Though the wiki was created January 29, 2008, it didn't take off until mid-February 2008. So happy birthday, wiki!
