Twilight Saga and Harry Potter are up against each other once again in more than one category for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.

The two specific films in contention this year are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Here are the categories where they are up against one another. In one category, Harry Potter is up against two nominations from Twilight:

Best Film:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (HP7,1) vs. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (T-E).

Best Male Performance:
Daniel Radcliffe (HP7,1) vs. Robert Pattinson (T-E)

Best Female Performance:
Emma Watson (HP7,1) vs. Kristen Stewart (T-E)

Best Fight:
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint vs. the Death Eaters (Rod Hunt and Arden Bajraktaraj) in (HP7,1) and Robert Pattinson vs. Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel (T-E)

Best Kiss:

Harry Potter is also nominated in one category where it does not compete against Twilight. That category and its nominee is: Best Villain:
Tom Felton (HP7,1)

With one category standing alone for Harry Potter and another having two nominations for Twilight, the two films actually have an equal number of nominations with 6 each.

The two films also continue to face off at the box office again this year. HP and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will come out in theaters on July 15, 2011. Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is due in theaters on November 18, 2011.

The Harry Potter film franchise ends with this summer's release, but the Twilight series, which began adaptations much later, will end November 16, 2012 when Part 2 of Breaking Dawn is released.

The MTV Movie Awards air June 5, 2011.

Which film do you think will come away with more awards?????? Which awards do you think Twilight Saga will win????
