Tyson Connor Houseman (born February 9, 1990) is the Canadian actor who portrays the role of Quil Ateara V in New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
Background
Tyson as Quil Ateara
Houseman is a Native American Indian or First Nation Descendant of the Cree Nation. He graduated from Victoria School of the Visual and Performing Arts in Edmonton, and has previously been involved in theater productions. His first major role was as Quil Ateara V in New Moon, and he reprised his role in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn - Part 1. Houseman and other Twilight saga actors participated in a benefit baseball game in March 2010 whose proceeds benefited earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, as well as the Blood Center of Southeast Louisiana and the 9th Ward Field of Dreams.
Houseman discovered the role of Quil Ateara on Craig's List while searching for a job.

- At the 2011 Seattle Twilight Convention, when asked what team was he on, Tyson replied, "Team Claire."
