Twilight: Director's Notebook is a book by Catherine Hardwicke, set to be released March 17, 2009 from Little, Brown and Company. This book will be a behind the scenes peek at the making of Twilight and will include images and notes from Catherine herself. [1]

The Twilight Directors Notebook gives you a personal backstage pass on all things Twilight. It shows more on charechter casting, special effects,, and includes bits of comedy here and there. It also shows more information on some of the scenes in the movie, like the car crash scene, the "meadow" scene, and the ballet studio scene. Some other things it shows include (but are not limited to)
-How Edward's hair was originally going to look in the movie
-How they Bella's "Arizona" home looked before and after remodeling
-And the "magic carpet" (you will have to read it to find out what I mean)
