Bella and Edward in the meadow
- "The meadow was small, perfectly round, and filled with wildflowers — violet, yellow, and soft white. Somewhere nearby, I could hear the bubbling music of a stream."
The meadow is an open space in the forest located in Forks. During spring and summer, the place grows beautiful flowers. It can be described as the most beautiful place in Forks. From Bella's house, she and Edward take Highway 101 North and Highway 110 until the pavement ends, and then hike through the woods for about 5 miles to get to the meadow.

Edward takes Bella to the meadow after she finds out he is a vampire. In the novel, this is where Bella sees Edward's body glitter under sunlight for the first time. In the movie a whole sequence is based around the meadow, it shows Bella and Edward lying on the meadow floor without speaking.

She later attempts to relocate the meadow in hopes of reliving her memories with Edward after he leaves her in Forks. When she finds it, all the flowers and grass are dead. kill Bella He suddenly heard screatching in the bushes and said;"I don't Believe it",The first came out sam in his wolf form,then Paul,then Jared,the Embry, and Last Jacob.For a short second Jacob looked at Bella in the eye while in his wolf form then he suddenly roared and helped the pack chase after Laurent.

In Eclipse, Edward takes Bella to visit this place after their victory against the Seattle Newborn Army, and after Bella decides to have a wedding. By June, this place is already growing flowers. Edward refers to it as "our meadow" .
