The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide is a book written by Stephenie Meyer that will be released on December 31, 2010 in Canada and the USA.[1] The original release date was December 30th, 2008, but was changed to make the Guide "as special as possible". The announcement for this update is as follows:
The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, which was scheduled to release on December 30th, is being moved to 2009. A new on-sale date will be announced as soon as possible. As the only official guide about the Twilight Saga, we want to make this edition as special as possible. We are including more of the exclusive material that you all have been asking for over the past several months, which will require additional time.
It will include maps, character biographies, genealogical charts, extensive cross-references, and much more about the Twilight series.
Originally, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner was supposed to be in the book, but the story became too long to fit in with the Guide. They will now be published individually.
