Whats with saying that all of the Lapush pack are Ware Wolves. There not!! While in New Moon, Eclips, and the Beging of Breaking Dawn they are considered were wolves they are really just shape shifters. This is clarified by Edward with help from the Volturie during the big (almost) fight seen with the volture at the end of Breaking Dawn. The real were wolves are refered to as "The Children Of The Moon".

Seven unnamed wolves..?

I read through Breaking Dawn again, and there were only ten wolves- Sam, Jared, Paul, Quil, Embry, Jacob, Leah, Seth, Collin, and Brady. I didn't see anywhere that there were seven more. Could someone clear this up? A page number would be nice.

Sure, no problem. It's on pp. 682-683 of Breaking Dawn: "On either side of our uneven line, the wolves branched out in long, bordering arms. I only spared a fraction of a second to note that there were more than ten wolves, to recognize the wolves I knew and the ones I'd never seen before. There were sixteen of them spaced evenly around us — seventeen total, counting Jacob." TagAlongPam (talk) 03:31, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Oh, thanks. But isn't Jacob's pack just Leah and Seth? Why does it have Quil and Embry listed under it?

Because it is mentioned that Quil and Embry eventually join Jacob's pack. I'll see if i can find the exact page numbers for you later.

Pack shielding.

I'm almost positive that Bella can shield a whole pack acting on its Alpha, with the protection going down the ranks. Breaking Dawn, during the Volturi confrontation, I think. Unfortunately, since I found that the book was less than thrilling, I'm not completely sure, and have not kept the book. If so, it's just about surprising that it has not been mentioned before - it would be an indication that a pack is not just a group of highly trained, intelligent and cooperating wolves, but something akin to a hive-minded superorganism. I would like confirmation before bringing here on a main page. Ngebendi 14:34, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
