Quillayute Valley School/Quileute Valley SchoolEdit

What is the Question?Edit

The Question is

  1. if Quileute only means the tribe, or
  2. if you can use Quileute also for locations (School, river,...)

I don't know the Answer

Quillayute is the right term, I've checked it on wikipedia and the Forks high website. Quileyute is incorrect I think, and Quileute is the name of the tribe, not the valley or river.

Quileute Edit

Quote from Wikipedia: third and fourth line of the "Quileute" disambiguation page.

"Quileute Tribal School, a Native American school in La Push, Washington, in the United States

The Quileute River, also called the Quillayute River, a river on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington state in the United States."

Hope it lays the question to rest. Ngebendi 20:10, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

I think it is not important if you call it Quillayute or Quileute, cause I think both are maybe right, but maybe one of them is more common.
But if someone thinks different, one Admin/the Admins should decide the right word.

Agreed - neither term is important. This wiki, however, has started with Quileute, and is therefore obliged to stick with it. Ngebendi 15:45, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Pretty much my feelings on this. LuckyTimothy 23:15, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
