Taha Wi was one of the sons of Chief Taha Aki.

Biography

Taha Wi was born in the late 13th century in his traditional lands after his father, Taha Aki, become a shape-shifter. He lived for two centuries due to his magical inheritance.

He became the head of the Quileute tribe, and took over leading the pack after his father stopped phasing. He was part of the hunting party sent to track down the Cold Man who had kidnapped several Makah girls, along with four of his pack brothers, but the search led them so far north that he sent the two youngest wolves, including Yaha Uta, his half-brother and the eldest of Taha Aki's children with the Third Wife, home. He and his two brothers were killed by the Cold Man.
