September 13 is the birthdate of Bella Swan. It is mentioned often in the series as Bella is always worried about getting older in comparison to Edward. Even after becoming a vampire Bella still thinks about her birthday, which Alice and the Cullens force her to recognize. She begins her transformation into a vampire just 3 days before her 19th birthday.
