Jacob is a werewolf and Renesmee is a half Vampire.
Bella wouldn't hate him.
He was in love with Bella first!
Leah! They could've been great together
It makes things WAY more complicated and pretty much turned the entire series into a soap opera.
He tells her mother that she is the love of his life.
It's freaking creepy...
Pretty lame that Jacob's love for Bella that he built up for a good two years would be replaced by her baby daughter in an instant like that.
I doubt that they could make any babies
Feel free to keep the list going!
Jacob has to wait seven years for anything to happen
Jacob would become Bella's son-in-law. AND HE MADE OUT WITH HER. HE WAS IN LOVE WITH HER.
It would have made a better plot device for him to have killed her.
Half-werewolf/half-vampire just won't work....
Jacob will deny Nessie the experience of "Finding your other half".
If Nessie rejects Jacob then Jacob will probably force her to be with him, forming a toxic and maybe even abusive relationship.
Jacob needs to get over Bella but being around her 24/7 doesn't help!!
Jacob was in love with Bella. Then she "died", so he deluded himself into thinking he imprinted on Renesmee.
Renesmee will always think Jacob smells like a dog
Renesmee will always be disturbed by the fact that Jacob once was in love with her mother.
Pedophiliacs will rejoice
Jacob imprinting on Renesmee makes the story seem like another "babies make everything better" movie.
Because Jacob is a major character and Renesmee is like a filler character.
