Joshua Uley was the father of Sam Uley and grandson to Levi Uley who was mentioned in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. It is also said that he wasn't a very good father and that he left his wife while Sam was still young. It is also stated that the wolves hope that he is Embry's dad, due to the fact that he wasn't around much.
