John was a minor character mentioned by Rosalie Hale in Eclipse. He was a friend of Royce King II, and shared his malicious traits. He, along with Royce and the rest of their friends, brutally raped and almost murdered Rosalie in 1933. After Rosalie became a vampire, she hunted down her murderers one at a time until she finally went after Royce. Though she killed them all, she made sure not to spill any of their blood.
