Huilen is a South American vampire. She was turned by her nephew Nahuel who was a half-human, half-vampire. Nahuel is her sister's child.

She is described as olive skinned and dark haired.
Biography
History
She cared for her sister Pire when she found out she was pregnant with her 'dark angel's' child, and wouldn't give it up. Huilen hunted for her sister, and, at Pire's dying request, promised to take care of the child. When Huilen went to take her nephew from his mother's womb, he bit and changed her. She continued to care for him, like she promised. Huilen and Nahuel both resided in the mountains of Chile.
Breaking Dawn

Huilen and Nahuel came to Forks with Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale to witness against the Volturi that Renesmee, another half-human, half-vampire hybrid, wasn't a threat to the vampires' secret world. After the Volturi left, she stayed behind with her nephew during celebration and was one of the last to leave. Bella thought that she and Nahuel would have gone with the Amazon Coven, but they departed earlier.
Diet
It isn't known if Huilen and Nahuel drink animal or human blood, only that Huilen hunted animals for her sister before her transformation. They may both hunt if they have to, since Huilen's eyes are burgundy, suggesting that she and her nephew eat both humans and animals.

Huilen's only appearance is in Breaking Dawn.
