Hilda was a German vampire who formed her coven and recruited Heidi, Anne, Mary, Victoria, and Noela.

She and most of her coven were executed by the Volturi for "attracting" too much notice from humans.

Biography

According to The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, she created the three vampires, Anne, Mary and Heidi out of pity for their bad lives. She was thrilled to have Anne's younger sister, Victoria, join them. They lived happy lives, and 2 years later, Hilda created Noela shortly before the Volturi came and accused them of drawing too much attention to themselves. Hilda allowed Aro to read her mind to prove them wrong; however, he still confirmed that they were criminals and Hilda was immediately executed, though she tried to argue. The rest of her coven was destroyed, with only Heidi willingly joining the Volturi due to Chelsea's power over relationships, and Victoria escaped due to her power to survive.

Notes

She made no appearance in the books or films.
