The French Coven is a vampire coven that is set to appear in Breaking Dawn - Part 2 due to release on November 16, 2012. This coven does not exist in the books. It only has two members: Henri and Yvette. In an interview, Melissa Rosenberg states that the Volturi is trying to collect them, most possibly due to their "gifts".[1][2]
Both Melissa Rosenberg and Stephenie Meyer talked about the backgrounds of both Henri and Yvette, providing information about their lives both as humans and vampires.
In the final trailer, this coven is seen pushing Volturi agents down an open hole, noting that the French Coven is on the Cullens' side.
Members
- Henri: The dark-skinned leader of the coven, who is said to show the gift to "flick people away".
- Yvette: A co-member of the coven with an unknown gift, confirmed by an article interview with Amadou Ly.
