- ―Edward[src]
Francesco Solimena was a famous Italian painter who lived in the 17th century, during the Baroque era.
Biography
Francesco was an Italian painter who favored the Baroque style, and painted a portrait of Aro, Caius, Marcus, and Carlisle (who was living with the Volturi at the time). He especially enjoyed painting the Volturi leaders as gods due to their god-like appearances.
Carlisle kept one of his paintings when he traveled to the New World, which Edward showed Bella for the first time in Twilight (New Moon being the first time in the movies).
