Florida is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. The city of Jacksonville, Florida is where Bella's mother and stepfather live. Bella and Edward visit them in Eclipse, but Bella finds the weather hot and muggy. It is described by Renee in the Twilight film that Florida is "always nice and sunny". It is here in sunny Jacksonville, Florida that Renee and Bella talk about the 'bond' that Edward and Bella share. In Twilight Renee is set upon convincing Bella to move back to Jacksonville after her 'accident'.
