The Egyptian Coven is a vampire coven located somewhere in Egypt. It consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. They are not vegetarians, and feed on human blood. They are all mated.

The coven is only mentioned in Breaking Dawn, when they are brought to Forks to serve as witnesses for the Cullens concerning Renesmee, Edward and Bella's half vampire-half human daughter. Throughout the time with the Cullens, Amun remained dubious of the family and at times, believed them to be planning to steal Benjamin and Tia from his coven (this worried him particularly because of Benjamin 's extraordinary talents). Benjamin and Tia are closer to the Cullen family than Amun and Kebi. When Bella asked Edward whether Benjamin had a gift that drew others to him. Edward states, "It's not that, his gift is so singular that Amun is terrified of losing him. Much like we planned to keep Renesmee from Aro's knowledge, Amun has been keeping Benjamin from Aro's attention. Amun created Benjamin, knowing he would be something special."

Members

  • Amun - Protective about Benjamin, mated with Kebi and definitely scared of Aro. He threatened Carlisle that he'd side with the Volturi if it came to a fight, but never intended to do so, according to Edward. Instead, after talking to Aro during the confrontation, he then leaves before the final decision is made.
  • Kebi - doesn't talk a lot, and is compared to Amun's shadow.
  • Tia - doesn't talk a lot either, but when she does, her words have a lot of weight. She's mated to Benjamin and accepted the Cullens and Renesmee easily
  • Benjamin - controls the elements (earth, fire, air, water), and has a refreshing personality. He reminds Bella of a child, but he can be serious and sided with the Cullens even when Amun threated to leave him. He's too free to be moulded into a weapon, which is what Amun was trying to do. When Amun confronts him during a fight before the Volturi came for the Cullens "I gave you life, you are wasting it" Benjamin answers coldly, "It's a pity you couldn't replace my will with your own in the process; perhaps then you would have been satisfied with me."
