Edward Masen, Sr. was Edward's biological father. He was a very successful lawyer living in Chicago and was moderately rich, but also emotionally distant from his son. In the series, he is only mentioned by Carlisle in New Moon. He was married to Elizabeth Masen, Edward's biological mother, and he died of the Spanish influenza in 1918 before his wife also died and his son was changed into a vampire by Carlisle Cullen.

i love twilight sage and i think it is cute win bella and edweard kiss on the lips and they kiss in bed win they husband and wift and they have a baby girl name resmay and i think that is a cute name for a girl but bella loves edward very much and they fell in love lol that makes them happy to look in to there eyes and i think that is so cute win they done that in the movie but i think that is so cute win that done it and i think that will be real to be true to be inlove but sometimes love does not like feels like love you have to find a good sweet boy who is cute but i think that is so cute just like bella and edweard they are inlove just like they love there little girl and they love her so much but so i think that will be nice to do but if i could find the right boy who will love for me then that will be cute and i think bella and edweard are inlove and i think love means you can find true love just like you can have your frist kiss with a boy on your frist date but i think that is so cute too but i am going to take a bath and get my hair wash tonight before i go to bed and i think bella does the same thing to and i think that soud so cute win bella and edwear fell inlove and they love there baby girl too just like my mom and naany loves me and c,loe so i am go to bed

It says that Edward Sr. was moderately rich. I don't get it. The idea that his income could still be of use is crazy. Inflation, taxes! It would make more sense if they had old family money thru trusts, or if Edward was rich usings his telepathy. Has anyone else seen this flaw?
