The following are noted differences between the original Eclipse novel and the movie.

Changes

In the book, Jacob is 7'0" tall. (7 feet) In the movie, due to the fact that Taylor Lautner has reprised his role, Jacob is only 5' 11½" tall.
In the book, Bella has a brace on her hand after punching Jacob. In the movie, Carlisle puts an ace bandage wrap on Bella's wrist while Emmett makes a joke about it.
In the book, the pack has grown to ten wolves. In the movie, you see only eight wolves at the practice to learn to fight newborns. But if you remember that Collin & Brady are staying in La Push during the 'fight'. However, Jacob has mentioned that Seth is their youngest member.
