Dean was a newborn vampire in the Seattle newborn army.

Biography

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner

When Riley, their caretaker, walked in on the newborns with newly burned ashes in the basement, he flew into a rage and attacked some of the members for their inability to co-exist and think logically. Dean was smacked into the entertainment center while some others had their limbs ripped off.

Dean was part of the coven's plot to destroy the Cullen family. However, he was killed in the battle against the Cullens and the Quileute wolves, along with the rest of his coven.
