Coach Clapp is the gym teacher at Forks High School. In Midnight Sun, it is revealed via Edward's mind reading, that Clapp attempts to diet, although he lacks the will to do so. He is one of two teachers to arrive to help Bella after Tyler's van nearly crushes her.
